About NSP Plumbing
Setting the New Standard in Plumbing
NSP started in a garage in 2021 with one rusty van and a plan to do things differently. Today we’re a Grand Rapids crew that shows up, does it right the first time, and leaves your home like we were never there.
Our Story
Taking Back the Trades
NSP Plumbing was founded by Nate out of his garage in 2021. It was born out of a simple frustration: the blue-collar world had no culture. Nate saw a need for change and decided to build the company he wished existed. NSP started with a single rusted-out 2005 E250, a van that eventually caught on fire.
While Nate was finding his footing, Jared was running a successful mowing company before leaving for school. He attended the University of Michigan, but along the way realized he hated the idea of working for a giant corporation and rediscovered his love for the trades.
In late 2023, Nate and Jared officially partnered, sharing one mission: grow a company and build a team of elite people who could take back the trades through a new, self-leading culture. What started as two guys with a shared vision has grown into a local plumbing company built around accountability, craftsmanship, and doing things differently.
From the Owners
“We are building the future of plumbing. Our mission is to build a company that sets the standard for tech, customer experience, craftsmanship, and culture - without ever losing the feel of a small company, where every customer matters and every employee has a voice.
We will keep the trade alive by creating new opportunities for the next generation, developing great people, and building a company bigger than one person. Our vision is to be Michigan’s leading plumbing company - and to build a legacy that lasts generations.”
